An Introduction to Marketing
Course Designed for
Anyone who is in a marketing role, but has had little or no formal training.
Aim
The aim of this course is to enable delegates to become familiar with the principles of
marketing, in a practical and structured way.
Objectives
By the end of this course each delegate will be able to:
- Understand the four stages to marketing
- Describe the component parts of a market research initiative
- Explain the attributes of their business which may give them
a competitive advantage
- Develop a simple marketing strategy
- Design a relevant mission statement for their business and
then decide what they are going to do with it
- Successfully explain the difference between the features
& benefits of their most important product or service
- Design the framework for a professional marketing plan
- Decide how they are going to promote different parts of
their product range
