Course Title
The Recruitment Process
Course Designed for
Supervisors, team leaders and managers who have received little or no formal training in
managing the turnover and recruitment of staff.
Aim
The aim of this course is to enable delegates to minimise the disruption to their business
by ensuring that they recruit the right people for the right job at the right time.
Objectives
By the end of this course each delegate will be able to:
- Design a job specification
- Design a person specification
- Explain how the job and person specifications link into the
company business plan
- Plan the required training support for a new employee
- Design a simple induction training programme
- Manage a simple manpower planning control
- Prepare for the recruitment interview
- Demonstrate the skills required to conduct the interview
- Grade the candidates objectively
- Manage the follow-up professionally
